MSHSAA To Move Boys Soccer Championships to Lindenwood University

COLUMBIA — The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) has announced that the 2024 Boys Soccer Championships, initially set to be played at World Wide Technology Soccer Park, will now be hosted at Hunter Stadium at Lindenwood University in St. Charles.

The championships, previously planned as a two-day event on Nov. 22-23, will now span four days from Nov. 20-23, due to adjustments for the single-field setup. Classes 1 and 2 will compete Nov. 20-21, and Classes 3 and 4 will compete Nov. 22-23. You can see the game times here.

“We want to thank our longtime partners at World Wide Technology Soccer Park for their dedication and support,” MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Jennifer Rukstad said. “Unfortunately, due to field damage caused by flooding, they are unable to host this year’s championships. We look forward to returning to their facilities for future events.”

MSHSAA expresses its deepest gratitude to Lindenwood University for stepping up to host the championships.

“Lindenwood University has been incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to host us on such short notice,” MSHSAA Assistant Executive Director Marty M. Marsh said. “From our very first conversation, they’ve been fully committed to helping us bring the Boys Soccer Championships to Hunter Stadium. We’re thrilled to have such supportive partners and look forward to delivering an outstanding experience for all involved. We’re working diligently on final preparations and will share additional details with teams, schools and fans as they become available.”

All championship games will be broadcast live on MSHSAA.TV, allowing fans across Missouri to tune in and cheer on their teams. For more information, visit mshsaa.org, and follow MSHSAA on social media for updates.
